So, I gave this a 3 star because I originally ordered this bamboo charcoal which i like, but then I decided to try the Ecoden 2.0 as well and I just love, love, love the Ecoden 2.0! it's plush and firm all in one, and it contours to my neck and shoulders whether i sleep on my back or to my side (i happen to fall asleep on my back and then in the middle of the night i switch to my side.) So, the charcoal gets a 3 but the 2.0 gets a 5!!! Thank you, Ecoden!

After spending a fortune on pillows over the years I have finally found pillow nirvana. I know everyone is different but this definitely has eliminated my neck issues. The only minor complaint is I wish the wings on the side where you can rest your arms were a little wider. But it’s a bit. Main thing is my pain is gone.

This pillow might not be for the average neck tension from desk work person. I read some of the reviews and I don’t think it’s a size issue, I’m a very petite women. I think it’s just everyone’s neck issues are different. But it’s a been a game changer for the pain that manifest deep in the bottom of my skull/top of neck that causes migraines. I’ve bought my second one of these and it’s much softer. I’m not sure if that was a planned change but I actually like it even more.

The pillow does have a mild charcoal smell initially but it faded quickly after airing it out. I also found that it keeps a consistent temperature which is great because I tend to overheat at night. One small drawback is that it might be too firm for those who prefer an ultra soft pillow but I found it perfect for supporting proper alignment.

What a difference this pillow has made! Sleeping on my back leaves my neck pain free. Sleeping on my side still causes shoulder/neck pain but it cradles my neck when I’m on my back.

I love this pillow! A friend gave me her old one to try, once her new one had arrived and I was smitten from the start. I purchased the largest size and haven’t had a bad sleep since. I love this pillow for back sleeping. It’s so comfortable I don’t even think about it. It puts my head and neck in a perfectly neutral position. I don’t like it quite as well for side sleeping but I think I am getting used to it. For stomach sleeping, I finally figured out that it works well if turned sideways. I sleep in every position, so it’s hard to find a pillow that is perfect for everything. But I’m satisfied with this one and just end up sleeping on my back more often, where it really shines.

I ordered 4 for Christmas gifts for my daughter and granddaughters. I have had an Ecoden pillow for at least 2 years. I feel the Ecoden pillow had been a game changer for the comfort of my neck ( I have a lot of old injuries from car accidents, and my work creates neck stress.)
I am a little disappointed with my gift pillow for 2 reasons.1) The how to use cards were not included in the shipment, so I had to gift the pillows without them. They were sent separately and came later, but this is an ineffecive way to introduce family members who I do not share a house with to the pillows. 2) I kept one of the 4 new pillows for myself. It seems much softer than my old one, and therefore less supportive. I slept on the new one for 2 nights, then the older one last night. I have to say that the old one seems better, although perhaps its density is enhanced by the silk pillowcase I have on it. I could not afford silk for all my gift pillows.
